After completing the BCS professional examination in 1993, he started his it career as a part time lecturer and became a sought after lecturer for BCS and ACS professional examinations. He has been instrumental in uplifting the standard of IT in Sri Lanka by taking IT training to the rural areas of Sri Lanka via the expansion of ESOFT resulting in new branches being established around the country including the North and the East. Established on 2nd of September 2011 as a Regional campus and has promoted to a Metro Campus in year 2015 ESOFT Gampaha is the only one TVEC (Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission) approved ESOFT center in Western province, other than the Colombo Branch. It hasa long colourful history origination from the Middle Ages. While maintaining a certain degree of tradition;convocation robes may incorporate specific details defined by the university.
It holds a status and definesthe wearer based on his or her standing amongst the officials of the university or the class and fraternity ofthe degree received.
