That’s the only way to manage code snippets. Snippets can be stored locally or online, making them always available. The CodeBox interface is instantly familiar and usable. In my search for online snippet sharing tools I came across a number of Mac applications that are great for building code libraries so I figured I’d toss them in as well. Check out jCodeCollector and Snippely first if you’re looking for a solid free option.

Having a snippet easily available makes for improved efficiency, faster workflow, and increased accuracy. Is a simple store and retrieve database for code that makes it very easy to grab, store, organize, save, and retrieve code snippets. For a new app there’s not much to not like.
